Another great tool to check out is feedlizr, (http://www.feedalizr.com) It covers many categories above.
1. It’s a full twitter tool/toy
2. It aggregates Twitter, Friendfeed, Facebook, Jaiku, Flickr and more
3. You can like, favourite, update and comment in any of these streams, from feedalizr.
4. You can filter out noise

Jane & Anna, I loved the talk last night. Really learned a lot. But can you post the slide deck? I want to make notes before I forget the great info you gave us.
